Our Founder

Sarah Connor

Meet Sarah Connor, the founder of Maison Green. Sarah discovered her love of plants while working as an ICU nurse in one of the nation’s top hospitals. The joy she felt caring for a plant and seeing it thrive felt a lot like watching a patient improve. During a time when being a nurse was especially difficult, her indoor garden became a sanctuary.
Maison Green was born out of a desire to make plant ownership easy for people who don’t have the time or skills to keep their indoor garden thriving. It started with projects for friends: an afternoon spent repotting a monstera in Southie, another plant shopping for a friend’s Somerville apartment. Now Sarah and her team are busy making planty dreams come true in homes and businesses all around Boston!
Besides her ever-growing collection of plants, Sarah’s other favorite things to care for are her cat Barbara and her two dogs, Leonard and Ripley. She loves traveling, solving puzzles, and making people laugh. She is a proud French Canadian from Montreal, and - of course - a lover of poutine. Above all, Sarah is always looking to find the beauty and joy in life and share it with others.
